It closes the opening at the top of the fork tunnel between the instrument cluster of the cockpit and the fork bridge. It conceals the hydraulic lines of the front brake and clutch, as well as the electrical lines of the fittings, the fender and parts of the Telelever.

The panel on the cockpit side thus provides a convincing, harmonious visual finish to the upper fork tunnel and protects the driver, because the cockpit panel also acts as a windbreak against the wind that sweeps through the fork tunnel towards the driver at country road speeds.

The attachment is made using existing screw points. This means that no drilling is necessary.
