The O17 fits onto the white TM connector on the output lead from your older AccuMate or OptiMate charger and enables connection to an SAE connector.
This allows your AccuMate or OptiMate charger to connect to the newer SAE-compatible range of accessories as well as to the connectors found on some lawn mowers & garden tractors.
To convert a TM71 OptiMate/AccuMate lead (with the white TM connector) for use with an SAE compatible OptiMate, order the O7.
