Aeroflow R1200/R1250GS/GSA Hand Flare Extensions

HFX's are designed to deflect air that sweeps under the sides of the windscreen, as the windscreen is lifted, and attaches it to the back of the screen. This helps enlarge the envelope of protection at the shoulders and helmet. HFX's attach to the bike's stock black, plastic handflares with 3M Dual-Lok.

2 styles of HFX's are available, With Holes or Without Holes.  HFX's with holes are necessary for use with AeroGards. HFX's without holes cannot be drilled later for use with AeroGards. So, if you think you may want to add AeroGards later, buy them "With Holes".

Available in Clear or Dark Smoke but note that we are only stocking the dark smoke at the moment, if you want clear then it will be 3-4 weeks to get them

The R1250GS & GSA and the R1200GS from 2017/18 usually have a 1 piece cockpit trim  the R1200GS up to 2016 and the R1200GSA up to 2018 usually have a 3 piece cockpit trim.  Please double check your cockpit trim before ordering.

If you are looking to fit the AeroGards then there is a different listing for them.  HFX's without holes cannot be drilled later for use with AeroGards

At 6 feet tall I had to change the standard screen on my 1250 GSA Rallye for a tall screen, adding about 100mm to the height, this reduced the buffeting on my crash helmet and made for a much more comfortable ride. I also fitted the essential screen strengthening kit. Both available from The Adventure Bike Shop. What became more noticeable after fitting the taller screen was the wind noise and buffeting around the shoulders. Cliff recommended the Aeroflow hand flares. These were easy to fit and have made a big difference to the airflow and noise over the shoulders. I suspect they would be just as effective with the standard screen.
