The DENALI D4 2.0 TriOptic™ LED light kit with DataDim technology is among the most powerful auxiliary lights on the market, thanks to a stingingly strong quartet of LEDs that help you identify trouble as far as 800ft down the road yet still shines brightly to the edges of the road and beyond. Four 10-watt CREE XPL HI LEDs produce a piercing beam of light yet combine to use just 6.6 amps for both lamps.

New with the DENALI 2.0 generation is the industry-leading TriOptic™ lens system. Right out of the box, the D4 is fitted with True-Hybrid™ lenses, providing a combination of spot and flood patterns in each lamp. This configuration gives you 560ft of forward light and 140ft of visibility to the side. That's almost 600ft to read a road sign and 140ft to see the deer lurking among the bushes. Also in the box are lenses that convert all four LEDs in each lamp to a spot pattern, resulting in a tight, distance-focused beam brilliant out to 800ft while still retaining a 110ft beam width. Want a third option? Fit one of each lens to your D4 pair to get a Spot-Hybrid configuration that offers 625ft of maximum distance with a 140ft beam width. The spot lenses are E-Marked to be road legal in countries where this is a requirement.

The DENALI D4 housing is only 3.9in square and 2.6in. deep, and uses cast-in cooling fins to effectively dissipate heat and maximize light output. A durable black powder coated finish and a special Impact PC™ corrosion proof bezel ensures your lights will continue to look great even after repeated stone and debris impacts. Because of its size, the D4 is recommended for use with sturdy crash bars or other engine-protection devices, or with DENALI’s expanding line of bike-specific mounts.

Fitted these to my R1200rtlc using the Denali under mirror brackets. The lights are superb when used with the Canbus controller, which allows on/off and dim dip. Had to adjust the intensity on the "dip" setting to 10% to stop dazzle even though adjusted properly. These are super bright when used with the full beam, giving a very wide spread combined with a Great distance, improving country road safety. When fitting to the Denali under mirror mounts, the can bus leads are too short to reach both sides and needed to have extension leads to reach the n/s.As with previous review if using the denali canbus adapter you only need the lights and Can bus.
Turn night into day!I was staggered how bright the 100% beam was and opted to turn the dipped down from the default of 50% to 30%. Simple installation but to make it neat, I removed the fuel tank (not difficult) on my R1200GSA Triple Black 2018. Allow 2-4 hours to get it all right. The beam has a very clearly defined edge so can be positioned very accurately to get maximum performance with minimal risk of dazzling anyone. The CANSMart makes gives a number of extra features and on the BMW you can use the "wonder wheel" to dial the % of the dipped beam in 10% increments. Use the turn signal cancel button to turn the lights on or off.I ordered the CAN smart controller and two individual D4 2.0. It's better to do that than order the "Pair if you are using CANsmart controller and have the wiring loom sitting on a shelf as the CANSmart cables are long enough. No need to get a light harness extension either.Very, very satisfied with a quality product akong with the advice and service from The Adventure Bike Shop.
