Rating: Bought my Stormland Jacket and Trousers (Size Large), September last year. Racked many MANY 1000's of miles since then, and have been very happy with them (Mostly*).Had the Alpinestars Andes gear before that, which was decent enough and lasted me years. One thing i didn't like was while the Drystar kept (most of) the wet out, when the outer fabric got wet, it weighed a ton and took forever to dry out. So, when i stumbled across the Stormland gear, i thought it would be a good upgrade, being laminated. NOT having a level 2 back protector is an odd choice, considering how well protected the rest of jacket is. But bought a level 2 while at the shop, as (of course) the one n my outgoing Andes is a different shape)Been great in the cold, and now it's finally warming up the vents keep me cooler than my regular summer jacket. The cuffs take a bit of getting used to, but are an upgrade usually found on more expensive jackets from what i've read. (Mostly*) Only whinge i do have, is the buckles on the braces do not stay in place. Tighten them up, and they will slowly slide back down again. Which can be slightly annoying. There is no form of 'teeth' on the buckles. Spent this evening getting the buckles in the right place, then sewing them in place. Tim
