With this engine protection bar concept, maximum protection was the focus of development. The geometry of the compact protective bar primarily protects the exposed water pump together with the hoses. But the clutch housing and the slave cylinder of the clutch are also protected. The engine protection bar fits snugly against the unit and, thanks to its squat structure, gains additional stability and rigidity. The bracket for the left side of the engine is screwed solidly to the frame at two selected screwing points. The moments and forces that occur in the event of a fall or a tipping over are thus distributed over two points. This reduces the load peaks when external forces are applied.

The engine protection bar reduces the risk of damage in the event of a tipping over or fall. In particular, the failure of the water pump and its connections inevitably means that the journey can be over.

The assembly is easy to do.
