We recommend preventative protection for the delicate fairing, as the risk of damage is already present when maneuvering in a garage or public parking lot. Our fairing guard reliably protects the faired front end and the area to the side of the radiator, thus reducing the risk of expensive damage. In the event of a fall or tip-over, the forces acting on it are optimally distributed across the guard structure to the resilient mounting points, reducing force and moment peaks. Visually, the fairing guard integrates perfectly into the DesertX's flyline and underscores its striking appearance. The fairing guard is made of 25-millimeter precision steel tubing. It consists of two tubular segments that are formed on CNC tube bending machines and then cleanly welded together. Installation is easy.
