Bought this adapter after getting sick of the crappy (and expensive) BMW sat navs so went to tom tom. This product works well and I've been using it now for about a year. Very pleased with this product and the tom tom it allows me to use. Great service from the guys at adventure bike shop too. Very happy

I was bit skeptical at first, having used a dedicated SW Motec TomTom mount for my previous R1200GS. That worked well, though required the removal of the original Garmin mount. However, this device works well, and does a great job while keeping the OEM Garmin mount in place. It's much easier to install, although getting the TomTom connector plug to properly fit in the aperture provided need a bit of wiggling....the trick is to push more of the cable grommet out of the groove in the case, and eventually the connector snaps into place. Very pleased - a useful bit of kit!
