See photos from an Aussie customer who had the first production set made by Bumot, this is what he has written about them in an email-
I’m very pleased with the Extremada panniers, and they fit the AT very well with the particularly secure attachment to the pannier frames.
It was a nice touch having the same key for the panniers and toolbox which is convenient. The sizing is very good, I was carrying about 8kg per side and the panniers are well supported with the aluminium plates secured to each pannier, and weight is distributed well, being mounted low and close to the passenger footpegs. The waterproof liners are a bit fiddly to use but once used to them, they fitted well and assumed the shape of the pannier. The bottle holders are an ideal size and particularly useful in our arid environment for carrying an extra 5lt of water. The closures are also very easy to use.

I have a 1250 GSA and the luggage fitted the existing frames perfectly. The luggage itself is extremely well made and extremely durable. When I dropped my bike at low speed, the luggage took the impact and was unmarked. The issues I have encountered are these. The waterproof liners are a very poor fit and are much larger than the luggage itself. The sides and bases of these panniers are completely waterproof. That cannot be said for the closures at the top. I returned to my bike the morning after heavy rain to find the panniers with several milliimetres of water in each one. In spite of this I am giving the panniers 4 stars because of the overall build and material quality. Would I buy these again, most certainly. I can recommend them but you should try to find some external rain covers for the tops and ditch the liners. Or you could simply take tem with you. They are heavy however which is why I left them on the bike in the first place.

Frames fit well and are excellent quality, a little tricky to fit the paniers without the latch scratching the pillion handles on the Yamaha XT1200, but once aware then you just take care. Panniers are great and well made, unless you are going across Africa then they are the better option in my opinion to hard luggage. Only down side to the whole set up is the dry lining bags are crap, they are clumsy and dont fit, will be replacing them which is a cost I was not expecting. However overall I am very pleased with the set up and would buy again.
