Defender engine skid plate for HONDA CRF1000 Africa Twin is made of one piece aluminium 4 mm welded on both side. The force of an impact is distributed over a large area via 6 bolting points.

Another benefit is the engine guard rises up far enough to prevent damage.

No needed for an extra bottom crash bar!

This item comes available in powder coated black finish, and includes all hardware and stainless steel brackets.

Assen at Bumot developed this Skid Plate after holing the oil filter on his Africa Twin fitted with the Honda Skid Plate, that will not happen with this Skid Plate as it offers maximum protection especially when combined with the Honda upper crash bars

To fit the Manual version with the Honda upper crash bar you need to remove the bracket shown in the picture, or fit different upper crash bars
